turkey turkey turkey

{2010 turkey trot chicago}

{me, no makeup, and the turkey}

phew. i can't believe it's been a week since my last update. i've still been rocking my 30for30 items, i just haven't been taking photographs! boo. thanksgiving is always such a great time to spend with family and friends. this year my poor husband had to have his wisdom teeth out, the day before thanksgiving. i've been spending time taking care of him. is it just me, or are boys extra whiny when they're sick/injured/recovering from oral surgery?

this was the first year that i ran the 8k turkey trot on thanksgiving. it was so much fun! i ran with my dad, who was such an encouragement during the run.

i was also in charge of the turkey again! i hate to brag, but it seriously looked like something out of a magazine. martha stewart, eat your heart out.

i'll be back to my normal outfit updates later this week. i can tell you that i spent a majority of my weekend in my leggings. they're so comfortable & the elastic waist is a god-send...

xoxo,
pilar
